My First Guest Post is Up

What a fun experience to write a guest post for my new friend, Emily Adams on her travel site, The Planking Traveler! A small blogger like me always hopes to share their story with other blogger sites, and Emily invited me to write about traveling with RA and Sjogren’s Syndrome.

Here’s a link to the post where I discuss the changes auto-immune disorders require for trips and day excursions, and how Chris and I accommodate those things and just make it part of our routine.

It took me a while to figure out some shortcuts and tips for making spontaneity possible and fun. Auto-immune disorders require some extra steps and planning, and sometimes the RA wins and I just need to stay home. But chronic illnesses do not have to be a death sentence to having fun, making memories and being spontaneous in life. If it’s been a while since you’ve been outdoors for some walking, or even simple reading while you enjoy listening to the birds or frogs, I encourage you to spend time outside. It will lift your mood, I promise!

I hope the tips I shared on Emily’s site are helpful. Do us bloggers a favor and share with friends, I’m sure Emily would appreciate the mention, and I would be grateful, too!
