What is the "KneeWall" ???
“The purpose of suffering is more reliance on Christ,
less reliance on self and the world.”
Joni Eareckson Tada
Sometimes the spiritual side of medicine is an overlooked part of whole-person care. Faith and medicine don’t always coexist easily in healthcare. But research shows that the best patient outcomes happen when there’s treatment for the whole person – body, mind and spirit.
This is where the KneeWall comes in. It’s a place where we can let our real, honest needs be known. You can be encouraged in your faith-walk, knowing that others are praying for you along this hard, hard walk of chronic illness. Requests are prayed over by fellow Chrony’s who understand the challenges, discouragements, and loneliness of your journey.
Got a prayer need ?
Whole-body health includes support for body, mind and spirit. Indeed, suffering grows our faith in ways that easy-peasy just can’t produce. Things like trust … kindness … patience … endurance. Through every step, every thought, every inability that’s been revealed, Christ has shown me that He is enough for every need I have, even those I don’t know about yet. He’s bigger than our suffering. He is enough, my friend.
I’d consider it an honor to pray for you.
Note: For confidentiality purposes, all requests are posted to the KneeWall only at your request, and only with non-identifying information, like first name only, initials only, etc.
